Madison on Marriage

As I was tucking Madison into bed, she says:"Mom, I do not want to get married." I asked her "why not". She says, "when you get married you can't have lots of boyfriends anymore." I told her, "you can always have boys that are friends, even when you are married." She replied, "no mom, BOY friends. When you get married, your only boyfriend is your husband. You cannot have anymore." I told her "when you meet the right person, you no longer want to have lots of boyfriends." She said, "okay, but I don't want to get married yet." Well, I am glad that has been decided at 5 years old! I do not want to get to the teens with these girls!!!
